Ann Sutton

Chief Executive

Ann Sutton was appointed as Kent and Medway PCT Cluster Chief Executive in April 2011.

Ann has considerable experience of working in health services and has direct knowledge and experience of working in all parts of Kent and Medway. In 2010 Ann also spent six months as interim Chief Executive in NHS Surrey. Ann has an MBA (Strategic Health Services Management) from the University of Kent which she was awarded with distinction.

Strong commitment to partnership working to improve services for patients and users resulted in Ann being awarded the Kent County Council Social Services Contribution to Partnership Work and the Community.
 
Ann is passionate about focusing on citizen engagement to involve the public in all aspects of healthcare provision locally, as well as putting clinicians at the heart of decision making. Working with partner organisations to encourage integration in both commissioning and provider services to deliver high-quality and value-for-money services to local people, is also a high priority.
 
Ann lives between Canterbury and Ashford and enjoys walking and swimming whenever she gets the opportunity.
