Helen was previously Acting Chief Executive of NHS Medway.
She took up this position in October 2010, having joined NHS Medway in 2009 as Deputy Chief Executive/Director of Commissioning and Performance.
On leaving university, Helen joined the NHS Finance Management Training Scheme and has worked in the NHS ever since.
