Pete has been a partner at The Parks Medical Practice, Rochester for more than 20 years, a first wave fundholder and dispensing practice.

He has been a GP trainer and GP Vocational Training Scheme Course Organiser.

Until April 2011, Pete was Director of Commissioning and Performance for NHS Medway and was responsible for commissioning and contracting primary and acute care and community services.

Pete was also joint Director of Quality responsible for assuring and monitoring the quality of all providers and independent contractors.

Pete continues to hold the post of co-Medical Director for NHS Kent and Medway.
