Medicines Management

The Medicines Management Team is made up of 3 areas, the community pharmacy team, the GP practice team and the quality assurance team.

The community pharmacy team monitor pharmacy contacts and educate the local pharmacists in Medway as well as taking queries from pharmacies and patients. 

The GP practice team monitor the prescribing of all Medway prescribers, give prescribing advice to all prescribers and take queries from patients and GP surgeries. 

The quality assurance team ensure that all guidelines recommend by NICE and other bodies are being followed with in Medway, work with Medway hospital on shared care guidelines and they also ensure that quality assurance excites with all prescribing but with emphases on Controlled drugs.
