There has been significant improvement in infection control standards in General Practices over the last 18 months, supported by Pamela Darko, Infection Control Nurse at NHS Medway.
Due to organisational re-structuring, Pamela will be transferring to an interim position in Safeguarding with immediate effect. As a result, Infection Control support for GPs will no longer be available.
General Practices should now seek support and advice from their own Infection Control links.
