Some staff have found they have 45 per cent more time to spend with patients as a result of the programme, which offers staff procedural assessment tools, enabling them to ensure they make best possible use of their time.
The programme has been adapted for outpatient areas and the delivery suite. Other benefits include greater ward organisation and productivity and a safer working environment.
